AFAIK he was speaking of claw backs for closing down cards, no A/A's.

I got shut down by chase about 6 months ago the reason "spending on my account does not reflect usual household spending" . I tried my luck with the 70k offer got instant approval . it took them about a month to catch up and shut me down. I still got about 25k UR out of it .

Why post here? I am not sure Dans response about getting shutdown was specific to this card

Got 1st card last month
Applied for second card last week.
Got letter saying its duplicate so they arent processing it-
Called recon--split the first cards line ($5500 for each) and got the second one opened.

In the first part of the conversation I told them "I wanted to put certain purchases on different cards, as it helps with my personal accounting"

One personal card came, 25k posted to my account so far.
DW's personal and business cards came. 50k posted to her account (just spend on business card, still waiting for points to post). Already converted personal card to no fee travel rewards card.

Still waiting for both of our second personal cards to arrive, although we can see the accounts online.
