I understand that it is easy to accumulate  A S miles -

 BUT What is so great about A S  miles?-- I live in Europe --  if want to go to states - if use as partners BA AF/KLM OR DL all of them have very high YQ ? - I know I must be missing something , what is it ?

Applied for card #1 and recon tells me that I need to wait for a letter to come to me in the mail and then call back. Before that, they can't consider it.

Search for a different recon number, on my phone or I would help, I has he same exp today and just called a credit specialist. It's somewhere on wiki
