Just had success getting 4 apps approved - 1 instantly, 3 on recon. I told them I like to use different cards for different expenses, it makes it easier to track

Terms and conditions that came with card state "if a cardholder voluntarily closes an account or we close the account, any unused miles will be immediately forfeited unless specifically authorized by us"

Is that typical language?
Any way they can/do enforce this?

ETA: Maybe they mean the miles account, language is not so clear..

it's referring to miles that haven't been transferred to your Alaska Milage account. They don't claw back miles that are already in there.

people got approved for 6 Alaska cards in one day?! Whoa...

I just got the Alaska personal and biz, plus FIA Fidelity last month, guess I should've went for more, though I don't have much credit line to spare since all of them are only 5k.

For those able to get annual fee waived, did you call or SM or twitter? What timeframe after account opening did you do so and did you pay the fee yet or not? I called multiple times and they won't waive it.

What case? I called got downgraded dont know why they opened a case, call up again

When you downgrade, its not automatic, they "open a case" and then it gets processed with a week or 2.

It takes about 4 weeks and from my experience they refused to wave the AF until I got a supervisor to do it because I was cheated and misled, they also said its a one time basis and next year I will get it again.
