People make way too much of a big deal around here about getting all your balances paid off before statement hits. It affects so slightly.

The best (non-sarcastic) advice I can give you is to experiment with it yourself and see. It's not something that will stay for long (like a missed payment.) Heck, your pulls have a longer term affect than usage. Play with it and see.

Wow, I just applied for 3 BofA Alaska cards without the $100 statement credit. Can I downgrade all 3 cards and not pay the $75 af? Or should I just cancel them in a few weeks. I don't think I'll be able to get BofA to match the $100 offer. Thoughts?
