right, also because apps are for DW, initially  applied under maiden name to match passport, and put married   name on the follow ups which could have triggered something, oh well ces la vi

On my 6th or 7th HUCA for one of these I was told that the new policy is to not allow splitting of credit lines in order to open new cards since too many people were doing that.

The fact that it is your 6th or 7th huca amd this is the first you're hearing of it should tell you someyhing...

Does that mean that the chances of getting more then 1 card approved is very slim? I was following this thread for about a week now and I was just going to pull the trigger on a couple of these cards.

You can quite possibly be approved for more then one card with higher then 5k...

Thanks - Just applied got approved for two cards. they gave me 17,500 on each card, I tried to get a third and I got "Your application is in review"

Is there any chance they would approve me without calling? In this case I feel kinda stupid calling.
