I applied less then a week ago for 3 cards. One got approved with 12k one was pending and later was approved with 5k.

The third card is the one that got rejected and so far every rep I spoke to told me they cant split the credit line from the previously approved card.

I closed a card after the points posted in my AS account. BOFA clawed them back.

-Just for closing. no other reason. I still had 75k in the account. simply opened another card to get up to 100k for an award redemption  ;)
-Got the bonus soon after opening. closed card 10-14 days later. points clawed back within a week of closing.
-closed. not downgrade.

Just called today, try to play the fact that I was with BOA since 98.... Transferred me to a senior credit analyst.... nothing doing. He said it was because I had already 2 cards.
