It'll usually result in a hard pull.

They probably won't just reallocate unless you unlock--maybe they'll pull a different Bureau. You're better off doing it on a day you apply for another bofa card and maybe the pulls will merge.

I signed up and was approved for 4 this past March. Whats the best move now? Cancel them and wait a bit? Cancel some? Any retention success?

I had to HUCA a bunch of times futily as many CSRs insisted it was after the payment due date. That's when mine eventually posted. And I ain't get no 5k for goodwill

Signed up for 2 Chase (one approved one not, will call back), 1 citi (approved) and 1 Barclays (approved). Should I do a 25K Alaska one also, if I plan on paying the first year fee but cancelling by the 2nd year. Almost all my Alaska points are from this method. Any chance of account being shut down if I pay the first annual fee? Will sign up in next hour if it's all in one day.

Also, where does BOA pull from in NJ?

If it's cleared, why not just use your old one?

They did put a "reminder" in the letter, that the account is only for personal use (signed Yvette

)
I would rather not have a (possibly) flagged account.
