I take it that the only problems people have had with AS , is when it's connected with a BOA credit card (and in some fashion "misusing" the card),

Has anybody had any problems after redeeming from an AS account which was solely funded with SPG transfers?

Had a clean AS acct from spg only. They put a freeze and asked for AH id with matching address.
2 days later freeze was lifted. Others have had this as well, seems like a fraud related thing.

The $1k spend doesn't bother me, no statement credit, does, don't forget the AF is effectively a must pay.

30k offer officially goes live June 1st, so hopefully the +$100 statement credit stays live and that offer bumps to 30k points as well.

Make sure you get approved with $5K CL . Got auto approved with $1k and second app in review .
Called recon and was told they will approve with $2K CL .
I cancelled both cards .
