Sorry to hear it.

As a data point. I had a bunch of cards from b/f the 50k bonzana, waited around 60 days, canceled them all, and received a refund of the AF.
I did keep one open since they agreed to refund the AF, but I realized that I have no more use for the miles ;)

And another of my friends' cards were shut down. 2 of his and 2 of his wife.
Looks like opening for 2 each in the family is a trigger and I'm worried that AP is also a trigger.

Applied when it was still available but with credit report frozen, so it stays pending until u call in, even though the app is no longer available.

Only applied for one card, first statement closed with minimum spend met ($500 of that Amazon Payments), 50,000 promotion miles credited to Alaska and see annual fee charged yesterday under recent activity, no letter in the mail thus far.

Of course, most are still open. There was just an abnormal amount of closures for whatever (likely anger at taking advantage of the leaked offer) reason.

Do I have 60 days to close and get the annual fee back? I know that is the case with American Express but this is my first BOA card so unsure. I wouldn't want to close the account and have them claw back the points.

More importantly, did the people who got closed down have the initial 25,000 sign up bonus taken from their Alaska Airlines account or did they never transfer in the first place?

60 days is the law.
