Hope you're paying AF, otherwise the 100k isn't worth much. >:(
Just make sure to get the ones with statement credit

Good luck :)
First rep couldn't find the duplicate application. 2nd rep found it and would not approve it. I asked why and he said because that's how they're conducting business now. I offered to split the CL and that didn't work either.  HUCA?

I would.
I HUCAd 3 more times. 1st two times the rep couldn't find the application. 3rd rep found it, but said that AS is limiting the amount of cards per person to 1. He said that apparently people were applying for the card just to get the bonus miles, and applying for multiple cards at once. I can't imagine who would have done that?

For me, even just 25k is good because it gets me to 100k so I can redeem, although obviously objectively 50k is better. Last time I did a biz card they grilled me for 30 minutes of minute details of the business. Was a PITA. Plus you need to spend $1 to get the 25k IIRC.
Not true. IINM you just need to make one purchase, plus if you get approved for biz you automatically get the 25k as opposed to the personal where they can give you only 5k

I actually called them because I didn't want to wait but yes, they do ask you questions about the business but it really isn't so bad

Few minutes. No proof. They did ask for revenue, you just say what you put on the application. Only 1 biz card

I don't have any AS cards besides for the one I just got approved for.  I converted the one I had to another card last Nov well before the whole shutdown thing.
That's meaningless to them. If you didn't pay the AF you are still a sitting duck. :-\

If you got the pull, why would it not be worth it to try for another. Worst case, you'll get denied.

So I'm supposed to pay an AF on a card that doesn't exist anymore? I only closed 1 personal and 1 business card and converted the other personal. No A/A was ever taken. Why should I be concerned?

Nothing needs to make sense with them. Yes, to answer your question, that's exactly what happened to me. I had a similar setup to you, they came after me for cards that were 1-2 years old, and one closed one as well. No a/a was taken in my case until the day of my first redemption. That very same day they "randomly selected my account for review" and found these problems. I'm not trying to be a fear mongerer, but people need to realize what they are up against!

So is there anything to do about it?

Don't think so. Back up thread there was a guy rambling on and on how he threatened them. According to him they settled with him and promised never to start up again, or something along those lines... That was once they took his points, but for cards that were already cancelled or downgraded I really don't think there is much to do, before they come after you.  :(

I do wish you all the best, and hopefully they won't start up with you. As with everything in this game it's a YMMV.

Once tickets are booked (assuming you get that far) would they go so far as to cancel them?
