just got approved for the alaska 30k +100$ credit, not instant no need for recon, 2 days got auto approved but they gave a platinum plus instead of the signature which defeats the purpose bec you dont get the bonus, so im thinking to recon for the signature shifting existing credit to get the 30k bonus... is that possible  or i lost the signup bonus alreadyany dp?

I got an instant approval with the same problem - approved for Platinum Plus.  Called and was declined by recon, BUT the rep did first say that if I was approved then would be eligible for the signature bonus but it might have to be applied manually.  Hope that helps.

I applied for 2BM got approved for 1 and second under review. I called them a few days later (I know.... ) and they told me they rejected the second one as a duplicate error, and since its a few days it got closed automatically and I will need to apply for a new one. Does it make sense to apply for another one if its still within the 30 days or am I risking another credit pull?

It will be another pull. Freeze your Experian. They'll sometimes pull TU or EQ

No. You can do it. It'll just take time untill the card gets converted, and then your good to go

The CSR is telling me that if you don't get approved for a 5k CL, then even if you get it later, you still can't get the 30k bonus.
