If I have the signature card but don't actually use it to pay for the flight- will I still get a free bag by merely showing them the card?

yes. you don't even need to show the card. it should be in their system that you're a cardholder.

I just flew virgin, they *didn't* have it in the system that I was a cardholder and I didn't bring my card with me. I logged into BOFA on my phone and showed them my account (it says "alaska airlines visa sig) and they accepted it. This worked in JFK and LAX

Can I use the companion pass for 2 family members? Or do I the account owner need to be one of the passengers?

When I got the Alaska card in 2015, I got $100 plus 25K miles for spending $1000. I canceled it when the AF came due. Now they're offering me 30K for spending $1000. Is the $100 deal still available?

30k+$100 is available, I think the free CP isn't available anymore though.

Haven't been able to get a BOA approval this calendar year, after 5 previous years of quarterly 2-3 BM AS.  Was dropping credit lines before closing, no significant changes to credit profile.  BOAs approval process has changed

No, "they have extended me the maximum number of cards possible".  Have one old card open, no credit limit juggling to open new accounts either

I just opened this card 2-3 months ago (first BOA card ever) and since then got already 2 letters with RSVP code for the same card with the 30K bonus

If I apply using those offers does will I be approved and get a bonus? and if yes, will this work if I apply from a public link as well (I want that $100 credit too)

Got an offer for 30k points (1k spend) + companion ticket. Then a $100 companion ticket at anniversary. Is this a good bonus? How are companion tickets? Are they easy to redeem on NYC <--> LAX?

If the flight is available for purchase with $, and there are two seats available, you pay for one and get one (almost) free. Very simple and easy to use.

K so I have Alaska card from Bank of America. It's been a year and I was charged the annual fee. So I called and there's no card to downgrade it to. I asked if I can transfer the credit line and they said the balance has to be 0 in order to transfer. I asked if I pay the annual fee, transfer the credit line, and close the card, will I be refunded the annual fee? And they said no.
i fold them that all other banks allow that and he said Bank of America doesn't allow it. Should I go ahead and try it anyway? I don't want to lose the credit line, and most importantly, I don't want to lose the $75 annual fee.

Same happened to me. I applied for card. After I applied, I received offer for it Again. So I applied again and got the bonus again. This was about 1 month after applying for the first one.
