They're not budging. Not willing to close one of the cards I just opened. Not willing to shift enough CL from the other 2 to give me 5K on the 3rd card. Oh well, 50K is still nice.
Change your cards to a different product (like the Travel Rewards Card) and try HUCA again...

Does the BofA cc department have anything to do with the banking department? I basically can't bank at BofA (their decision not mine) and I want to know if it's with applying for these cards or if they'll see my social and reject me straight away.

I am pretty sure they are separate entities.  What did you do to them?

Thanks, I can try that.

So, how does churning work here? Just close them and reopen a few days later? They don't ask why you just closed it?

Do you have to use a different FF# when churning these cards?

How long do you have to wait between closing and reopening so that they don't say "why did you just close this card?"

just tell them that you didn't want to pay the annual fee. but your plans have now changed, and you plan on flying Alaskan so its worth the annual fee

Does Alaska Airlines flag your account if you open a new Alaska Airlines account?

I just did it a few weeks ago. Applied for 3, they would only give me 2, saying between the 2 I had enough CL and didn't need more from a 3rd card. Each card got $5K so I couldn't have them shift CL without going below the $5K threshold needed for Visa Signature and the 25K miles.

Oh yeh. Almost no effort needed to get the points...
You only applied for one? Are you doing 25k or more?
