This works

Default settings work for regular handset and speakerphone. For Bluetooth you go into the recording settings, Bluetooth settings, and change the input to "voice call"

just bought the s9+ so don't really have a choice. I'm kinda banking on that boldbeast will find a fix soon, I"ve been using their app for a few years now, they are usually very good with these things.

Seems to be s9 specific...

I had heard from someone that it was oreo that blocked it, seems to not be the case.
