Any word on a removable battery yet for the V30?

Wonder what their reasoning would be to stay with a removable battery. Rumors point both ways at this point surprisingly. I really didn't think it had a chance after the 6g.

Unfortunately that market has shrunk over the last few years.

I bought a Note8.
But I'd cancel if this showed up with a removeable battery.

I'd be slightly surprised if it did at this point.
Would that be enough of a reason to go in that direction for you?
I'm hoping they stepped it up in the software area.

For people that have old phone whose batteries die every 6 hours, and take 4 hours to charge.

Unlike phones now that last 12+ hours and take 20min to charge for the rest of the day if needed.

Batteries start losing their charge after an x amount of charges, especially when using high speed charging. For people who keep their phones for a while, this can be an issue.

One example:
a couple of weeks ago my kid tried to jam the wrong charger into my phone and messed up the port. Now I'm just using an external battery charger and swapping out the batteries.

I think I remember reading that Samsung would've saved over a billion dollars on the note 7 fiasco if it had a removable battery.

A removable battery alone is not enough, you need them to sell the replacement battery, not like the moto 4!

Lol. My replacement battery came with the phone (LG G5).

Looks really nice.
Wonder how battery will hold up.
And hoping software runs smooth.

Wish it had front facing speakers.
Camera looks great.

At this point might as well wait to see what the Pixel XL will look like since LG is building it

Not enough to make me switch from Samsung.
Note8 it is, first new phone since 2014.
