Don't know if this is current but a couple years ago i was able to change my stopover dest. w alot of HUCA (this was on AA)

If I book an award ticket from NYC-LHR o/w on UA and then at a later date want to add MIA-NYC on to the same reservation should I be charges a $100 change fee?

Can somebody help me out here.....

Dan (on the main site) has occasionally posted regarding booking an extra free extra leg on an award ticket (ex. extending your flight from NYC to HNL and getting a free one way to HNL). What airline is he referring to that allows a very long stopover?

So I while back I was able to book united one-way awards with a stopover, USM -BKK 12/29, then BKK-TLV 12/31.

United came along two weeks later and changed my wife's ticket without telling us, moving her USM-BKK portion to 12/31. Then they called us to tell us that there isn't enough connection time in the airport between the flights :P.

Now even if I could get them to bend the rules again and move the first leg back, they can't because there's no award availability. In fact there's no paid availability either  :-\ . Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm looking to do TLV-CLE rt (being hazmanim eg 3/23-4/27) with a stopover in London on the way there and if possible an airport that does global entry interview
I have united and Amex points.  What are my options?
  Also willing to pay if there is an affordable option (is there based thread lime this for paid fares?)
