No.. You can't stop over with matmid points.. They only work for direct Elal flights

Is it possible to do something like NYC-ORD-LAS-LAX-IAH-NYC spending like 2 days in each city? Or am I better off getting cheap revenue flights?

Delta Metal with KE points allows 2 free stopovers but I think cheap revenue/avios is easier

Yeg-FLL-NYC is one way with a stopover. Then NYC to YEG is the return. NYC is the destination and FLL is the stopover
