I've seen the 3 browser method discussed extensively here - using 3 browsers for 3 different applications at the same time for one credit pull. My question is, why only 3? Why not use four browsers at the same time, or even five? Or perhaps even 2 computers, with 3 or 4 browsers running on each one? Is there a reason why more than 3 applications at the same time is a bad idea?
It all started with the Citi/AA 75/100k offers, there were three offers and we figured out how to triple dip. There are also three major browsers (IE, FF and Chrome). You can call it multiple browser trick if you'd like. Oh,, and I'm not sure this topic warrants a thread of its own.
I wouldn't do more than 2-3 Amex apps at the same time, to evade F/R.
I guess in theory you can do more than three apps, albeit with less likelihood of getting approved. Some banks might see too many recent applications, and deny them all, it happened to me with Chase, YMMV.
