Reconsideration!! step by step q:?!

I applied for 3 chase cards 3 browsers and all are pending......
What's the best, safest,  quickest and proven way  to have them pushed through?
Do I Wait. For an answer in the mail?
Do I call recon 1st?
Do I go straight to credit analyst reconsideration?
Is there any one way better then other to go about it?

It's a combination of art and luck, it's not a hard science IHMO. You may have to call several times. If you have reference numbers, don't wait for the letter to call. Have your arguments lined up (been with chase for years, spend a lot, pay my bill on time, loyal customer, willing to transfer balance from card x, willing to close card y etc. etc.). Call first about the card(s) you want to get approved for the most (e.g. Sapphire 50k to match to 100k). Be nice to the phone reps, and don't give up.

Try to get the first approved just by calling the rest may require sacrifices. Also have a decent excuse why you want each one(Like you prefer the partner rewards program , to separate expenses....)

When you're talking to recon and they mention that they will probably let us know in 2 weeks, do you then ask them if they can approve it sooner? How does that conversation work out?

Your AppID can be retrieved from the browser source code of the confirmation page that loads after you submit your application. ('View > Source' or 'View > Page Source' in your browser, then hit ctrl+F to find it).

Just called recon twice for a friend once I even spoke to a manager but no luck. I guess there is only so much you can do with only 20 months of credit history.
Is credit analyst a diiferent dept? I don't want to call the same dept a third time.

Thats what they told me. Although they couldn't promise that he'd get approved even for a lower limit cc.

i got the continental with a spending limit under 5K. i just didnt get the one pass plus but i got the 55k bonus

just called recon with my saffire ref.# was told its not working so i risked it, and gave my social......
they only have my hyatt in file! does tht happen, does it make sense? wht do i do?

+ they said they cnt edit the hyatt since its pending!!
