So I found a Site that sells a certain product (not relevant to most ddf'ers) for a huge discount, I checked a couple of sites that check if a website is legit like, islegitsite, urlvoid, and more - all came back fine.

They accept PayPal.

I am still hesitant because it is a perfect example of "if its to good to be true its not true" but ya know maybe...... (its an expensive item)

What else can I/should I check before purchasing?

Google the site name + scam (or reviews).

Whois lookup. Is it a brand new site or years old?

Check the contact us page to see if there's a valid phone number..
