Nobody is immune to boycott. In fact, the bigger the company, the more they have to lose. A boycott that picks up enough steam will scare shareholders.
In fact, it's pretty clear that they are on edge right now about this whole "scandal". This guy can potentially win a huge lawsuit against them and make them look very, very bad. I would not be surprised if they end up settling with him out of court.
Boycotts don't work, especially for things that are actually needed, which,
things end up being boycotted usually are. The number of people needed to actually stop using a product/company/country, etc. is just too high to almost ever make for an effective boycott. They make a lot of noise and may get a lot of media attention but are rarely actually effective.
