The plot thickens. After setting the shul fire, the arsonist apparently climbed a bunch of flights up in my building, where he tried to set an apartment door on fire (but it wasn't flammable), spray-painted the name of the family on the walls and added a cross on the door of the apartment next door for good measure. The families in question are not at all affiliated with the Bet Knesset. What gives?
