Yup happens a lot there, they have been warned and pushed back but people there are desperate.

There’s way too many affected and few existing resources to treat them, no matter how much money is thrown at it. Israel will have to innovate a solution to take care of this. The only things I can think of is developing an AI-based therapy solution and creating more support groups.

Senseless horror over which you have no control is terrifying forever. Ultimately, I think Emuna is the only real way to move forward. Trusting that Hashem knows this happened, and has a reason for it.

They were obviously trying to save the kid and or family from legal and similar trouble. Is it more important that you get the real scoop?

I fully get that. Was just observing how skillfully the alternate stories are crafted.
But I don't think that in todays age such details can stay off the record anyway, especially with a death, it's just the preliminary attempt.

Many actually do stay off the radar or succeed in at least changing the narrative or seriousness of the charges including at least several in Lakewood that I know of, among them fairly high profile ones.When they succeed you never hear the real story.

Perhaps. Besides for legal consequences there is also the concern for the wellbeing and upgrowing of the real minor here if this is smeared all over, so that's for sure reason to. At least attempting to limit the damages somewhat.
