Yups 30K spg = 90K Marriott. Now its 100k on desirable dates on close in.

Yea, this is what is making people unhappy with the program, an increase of 10k points on some dates at the flagship hotel in NYC.

Sure, there are quit a few Marriott properties not participating in the rewards program.

However, in this case, Marriot clearly stated That it will be possible to redeem for award stay.

Not to compare but there is a Riad in Morocco, with I think, something like 5 rooms. Its possible to redeem but tough.

I saw that for sale in the Medina, the dude selling it could not explain it to me. He positively freaked out when he saw me taking a picture of it, which no other shopkeepers did. It was just strange all around.
