That has nothing to do with the technicalities of the story, and from the IB airport agents and CS responses, they seem to only care about the technicalities.

Why concede to their terms? On their terms they broke no law and only need to give legal compensation. Is the whole thing for Israeli compensation over EU?

They dont care about saving face. In some European cultures being "correct" is all that matters. Common sense plays no part in the equation. As long as the letter of the law was followed theyre good.

According to current market value:
EU compensation = $715 USD (600EUR)
IL compensation = $840 USD (3000NIS).

This obviously (for Dan, or any media to get involved) has to be about (more then $400 ($125 x3)) the bigger picture. Raising awareness and trying to get airlines to reconsider policies or retraining agents.

I disagree. I feel its very good that the common decency is playing a role here.
People have to understand that it is 'the unwritten law' to have common sense and to be decent. Especially to kids.

I would say a big thing that should be noted to the world is that contrary to what people said about FT. Airlines arent doing us a favor. They can't just abuse their passengers.
Isnt that the first thing about business relations. Treat your customers with respect. You need them!

While it raises all the issues I felt that it didn't bring enough outrage to the fact that they simply bumped the kids I'm a foreign City for hours.
