Yes, but T-Mobile is cheaper than purchasing in the US.

If you have Tmobile in the states (on certain plans), they provide free roaming across many countries in the world

Plan on doing GOR whole day tom...anyone have a list of not-to-miss spots?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

If you're doing it all in one day, you won't be able to make it to all the well known spots.  (see my tr for a sample all in one day GOR)

Trying to figure out the best Jewish area to stay in Melbourne.   Anyone know if the area of South Yarra is a good location to stay?  I noticed that the Melbourne Hebrew Congregation shul is that area and there seems to be a Chabad of South Yarra also in that area.  Wanting to stay in this area for Shabbos because the hotel options seem to be more higher end than in the St. Kilda area.

Not sure what's best for you, but the frum community of all stripes is in S Kilda.
So if you want to get a taste of Shabbos in the frum neighborhood of Melbourne, that is the place to be.

No, it's not enough time to see either place we'll. I'd say a minimum of 5 days in MEL (including the GOR) and a similar amount of time in SYD. Because of the GOR, I'd recommend MEL over SYD.

thanks! so if i have a trip in Nov from nyc to syd arriving there on a thursday morning and flying back on wed afternoon (6 nights). sounds like MEL is better. my question is should i can cancel my flight and try to rebook something direct to MEL? or maybe just maybe spend Thursday in SYD and stay at PH and fly to MEL early friday and have fri- tuesday in MEL and fly back wed morning to SYD to catch our afternoon flight back home?

Flying into SYD to spend time in VIC(totia, the state) doesn't make sense. You'll spend too much time going to and from SYD, not to mention such a short amount of time there. If you can swing a longer trip, do that and split your time between SYD and MEL. If you can't extend it, stick with one. If chose SYD since you're flying there, but you can easily spend the week just in VIC.

Anyone know of any kosher stores (grocery/supermarket, bakery, other food - not a restaurant) that
A. One can shop online,
B. Deliver in Melbourne, and
C. Are not outrageously priced?

TIA!

The main supermarket coles does online shopping and delivery, and has a decent variety of kosher food-depends what you are looking for.
They have a delivery fee if the order is under $150
Woolworths also has online shopping and  delivery, but I am not familiar with their stock or delivery fee. I do know that their threshold for free delivery is a lot higher
