Birthday error fares strike again. (Free LAS vacation during my surprise bday party, 4 mile island during Rafi's bday party, this today, I think there was at least one more I'm forgetting.)

While I didn't get a sub $400 fare, I did nab a ticket for $770 (and change) for my son to go to yeshiva, on what I consider superior routing and times to other options, also leaving out of my favorite NYC area airport (though in this case might not be so favorite, as I'm the one to drive him there - presumably into the airport). Combine that with the free shipping to Israel by Target, and my son's zman in Yeshiva can say some thanks to DDF and DDMS.

IME one clears US customs in YYZ, HOWEVER rather than claiming it, you identify it on a monitor, so best way is always to book a long layover and ask to check in your luggage only to connecting point.

I'm in the same situation. I'm looking to ditch YYZ-BOS on the way home from TLV. Shouldn't be an issue to collect bags if my layover in YYZ is overnight from 4:25pm-6:45am +1?

I got a pleasant surprise when booking BOS-PEK for me, DW, DD1 and DD2. Google Flights had it for about $200 pp but when I went to ticket, the price dropped to about $150 pp. I thought for sure the repricing was going to mean the deal was dead but in reality, it got even better. Anyone else have this?
