They're pretty firm about no free changes if it's less than 60 minutes. Let us know if you have success.

I tried getting my MIL on UA nonstop (Ex-TLV) based on the waiver and being afraid that domestic flights will be cancelled and she'll get stuck in YYZ. So far, no luck...

Is there any waiver for a flight that's scheduled for tomorrow? I couldn't find any. I would try to get my parents on a flight with only one stop. Right now, it's with a stop in YUL and then FRA.

rebooking on other airlines (other than codeshare) is only happening if its actually canceled.
