are you asking about paying for the rental? or proof that you're a USAA member to use the CDP?
if the latter, tried and tested many times when many of my friends were turned away with the email confirmation

I got a letter in the mail this week that they took off the $1 minimum spend for the 10 cents cash back per swipe on the USAA CashBack Rewards Checking account!

Seems worth it....
