This is the original not the new garbage!Ordered a bunch for baby gifts.
Before Dan modified the link, or afterward? P.S. Sorry Dan, I usually post links correctly, I just couldn't get this one straight. I tried a couple ways.

May not be appropriate for young readers By Amazon Customer on Dec 27, 2016 My son loves Curious George so we got him this complete collection. I didn't realize these were the original stories and didn't think about the time period they were written in. Within the first 2 stories, we knew that this was not appropriate for our son. Others may feel differently and that's okay, but parents be warned that these are not the lighthearted stories of today's George. Curious George gets kidnapped by the man with the yellow hat to be placed in a zoo. He is thrown into prison, smokes a pipe and in the second story he huffs ether and gets high. I'm returning this book because I didn't feel like the content was right for our young son. I don't want him seeing his favorite character do any of these things. I can't explain to him yet that this was written in a different time and by the age he would be old enough to understand, I'm sure he won't be into CG anymore.
Funny review. I hope its in jest.
Looks nice. I've just never appreciated Curious George. It's a children's book that teaches them about a character that gets into all sorts of trouble yet never face consequences. get me The Berenstain Bears any day
Someone once told me that they don't appreciate the Bernstein bears because they portray the father as a silly idiot which isn't the way a Jewish family Should look appon a father.I guess everyone has their opinions...
That's the same with nearly all tv shows. The father will always be the blubbering idiot and the butt of many jokes
Isn't Bernstein a Jewish name?
