Family in NMB sent these pics over from this morning
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

  • Location: The value of a forum such as this one is not in that one can post a question and receive an answer, but in that the question has most likely been asked before, and the answer is available to him that will but only use the search function.
  • Programs: 1. Search on google. 2. Search in the right board of DDF with a general word or two. 3. Read the wiki. 4. Read the thread. 5. Ask away.

Sunny Isles, Surfside, Miami Beach all have road blocks set up and aren't allowing even residents to return to their homes. Everyone is being turned away.

I know this is not the same place but
The thing with the hamster is that running on the wheel is actually what it is trying to do.

that's from the orlando PD, see what the miami PD are saying. There's a reason it's called CSI Miami and not CSI Orlando  ;)

If that was the problem it would be against state statutes. The official reason is it's too dangerous with tress and wires on the roads. But it's also likely looters are the reason.

Big arguments going on in the local chat groups about it being against local laws to do it...

It's really crazy though that people are 3 blocks away from their homes and people aren't being allowed home for "safety" so they now have to go to the streets that have the exact same safety issues.

Within the towns residents are roaming freely without problem and reporting the streets are more or less clear in the town I'm talking about.

Alton road is totally blocked by trees, but Collins is clear for anyone down there to know.

We need to go back 50 years. When I was growing up a devastating tornado hit a mile from my house. The national guard was called in with orders to shoot looters on sight. Today that would be profiling.  >:(
