Biz rates don't seem too great (except if one really wants to fly nonstop MIA-TLV, as it is the only option). HKG-TLV or BKK-TLV can be had for better rates. Even YYZ which is more or less on par with UA redemption as far as points are concerned, the fees and the hard product make this unattractive.

I am not sure you are correct on this one. How would you explain Israeli OTD? Granted, IME many Israelis cannot read properly with nekudos, but that doesn't mean they don't know basic Hebrew.

All of that notwithstanding, I am constantly baffled by people who grew through Yeshiva education and prefer reading דברי תורה in English rather than לשון הקודש. I have a very hard time reading business related material (not talking about news articles, but more in depth stuff, including contracts etc) in Hebrew, and when it comes to Torah learning, I just can't read English.

As I said, it's not the cause. But definitely a factor as many people can't connect if they don't understand the words of Davening, and more importantly, can't take out any fundamental sefer and understand what it means to be a Jew.

thanks - just did, called the US office (had been talking to the israelis till now). problem was an Israeli address, didn't realize that it was set up like that, so changed it, they made a reservation to hold the seat and once upgraded I have to call back to ticket it. thanks for the chizuk

I had a feeling that was the issue.  Sorry I didn't clearly state to make sure you're calling the U.S. center.
