Doesn't JetBlue have a price guarante for 14 days? So if you previously paid more, you can at least call and get an adjustment?

only if they are currently being sold for that price

Last Thursday, B6 sent me an email and left me a voice-message that my flight the next day from FLL-BUF was cancelled. It was only at 3:00 AM on Friday (4 hours before departure) that they emailed to say that the prior voicemail and email were left in error. Thankfully I had a backup flight and had already gotten out of Florida on AA (and did in fact cancel the B6 flight myself as soon as I landed safely in MCI at 2:30 AM), but could you imagine the anguish this would have caused someone desperate to get out before they shut the airports down?

Do you think it was wrong of travel agents to grab these $99 seats and flip them to passengers who had to get out for $300-400+?

Yeah, I'm gonna call BS on that one. Sounds exactly like something you'd hear from a friend who heard it from a friend who overheard it on the subway.

I'm confused.

You got them back on a ticket that they bought from a travel agent who bought it for $99 from JetBlue then resold it with a big markup? In that case your source is your personal experience with your parents, not WhatsApp.

Or you used WhatsApp to find a ticket for your parents, completely independent of the allegation that travel agents bought tickets for $99 and marked them up, and because of that experience anything you see on WhatsApp must be true?

It's a fact

It's not true.

See how I did that, posted an assertion with absolutely no backing. And you see what that's worth?

Let's not get all urban legend/hyperbole here. If you personally have experience with something or can point to a reputable source, please share. Otherwise you're just a yente.

Personal experience thru WhatsApp.
It was clear that the seller paid 99 and sold for $$ and he is a ta.

So he changed the names to match your parents names? How did he do that? How was it clear that they paid $99? Why would you claim WhatApp was the source for this info. None of this adds up.

Yeh it's 1 big conspiracy. Sarcasm.
Folks paid Jewish guy $$ ..JetBlue emailed parents receipt for $99 etc. Don't feel like typing full details so enjoy.

I got to the guy thru WhatsApp.

What's so hard to understand? I'm assuming he charged them $400, for example, while JetBlue only charged $99 for the ticket. Why his parents couldn't find the same ticket for $99, I don't know.

Would this be considered price gouging?
Quick let me grab all the water and sell em for $15 a case...

What's the difference?
