Is there any way to use 1 MR point + GC balance to pay for the order? Seems like they force you to use CC associated with MR account.

Worked for me fine, went and placed item in cart, selected credit card as my payment and didn't click apply points, clicked gc balance, then once I'm on the checkout page, after you go through each step individually in the beginning of lots of orders, after my gc balance was applied only then did I enter one point and then the code.
