I am using this and am happy with it
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0191ZGELS
Lemme note that I only use it on Yom Tov so I can't say whether it's good for constant use

Every time someone mentions a timer they get a response that they should use a smart home solution. Every time someone mentions smart home things they are told they should use a timer.

Not very common to find 7 days and mechanical together. Here's one though:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003OUWC86 (pre-programmed for 'random' lighting, so not much use)

ETA - If you need grounded:

Was it easy to install? (As a light switch)
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

I've put a few of these in around my house. All mone are Interstatic brand or something, but same deal. If you have a little experience with wiring, easy as pie. Instructions are usually in Chinglish but diagrams plus common sense is enough to get you through install.

Very important - make sure to buy the one that does not require a neutral wire unless you really know that you have a neutral wire in the box and you know how to pull it out and add a wire. You don't want to get one that needs a neutral and then commect it to the ground wire. It will work but violates code (i wont debate if its safe anyway). The non neutral wire ones seem more flexible too, can be regular or 3 way switch, and can connect to a neutral wire if you have one or to load/line if you dont
I'm an optimist; but only because life isn't going to give me any other good choices.

Just to ad you may not have a ground either so that may not even be an option (but having no Neutral will mean either the timer is running on battery or it won't be CFL/LED compatible I think)the Intermatic ST01 one of the only timers that has no neutral but you can still use CFL/LED the down side is it runs on a battery which needs replacement every so often...(2years or so I think)
