Flaums pickles and meal mart pareve cholent.
Pickles are good.
Cholent is bad. I'd give it 1/5 rating. (0 is on the scale too but that's reserved for things that I would spit out)
Tastes like baked beans.
The kishka is also very mushy and just doesn't have a good flavor. The same with the kugel but slightly better.

Funny thing is it's only because of the other thread about flaums pickles that I thought of tasting it. It tastes the same to me as how I remember it tasting. But I haven't had it in a very long time.

Gefens brown rice noodle mushroom onion bowl. I'd give it 2/5 rating.
It's like a potato chip bag for how much noodles they put inside.
The noodles are almost translucent and very chewy.
It has an interesting chlorine like smell.
The taste is ok at best
It's also expensive for what they give. ~$3.50

I've almost never seen rice pasta that didn't have that color (at least without a sauce). Maybe I just don't get around enough...

When I got sales training, I was taught that the best answer to give, if asked "how's business" is "UNBELIEVABLE!" (the Jewish version thereof being ברוך השם). In the current context I used AMAZING the same way.

You're right. As long as it doesn't say made in China, or lately they use PRC for the unsuspecting consumer, I'll try not to eat it.

Rabbi Mordechai Gross's hand matza. 8/10. Way better than last year's, which was thicker. They are nice and crispy, though most of them are burnt a bit at the edges (or it would be a 9). (I happen to like burnt matza - most don't, I assume.)

(I bought a box at Osher Ad for 70 shekel and sold it with the chometz, intending to use it for Pesach Sheni. I simply never got satisfactory confirmation that the matza is good. There are also some who disagree with him calling it "hand" because there is a machine involved somewhere in the process, supposedly.)

Non burnt Matza for my family members is what Pareve cholent is for @Dan. It's beyond me how people prefer non-burnt.
