I just returned a 13 day rental at Hertz...are you saying that if I call they will give me 1300 points?

i called hertz when i rented for 2 weeks with hertz- and they told me their not on the list of places that receive points from rentals... u mean to tell me if i keep calling i can get s/o who doesnt know and get those points???

I never called them but the points somehow showed up on my account. It is awesome! I was surprised but happy. On the t&c I think it says Spain ...  I do not know how they found my account; either by my name and address or maybe they once put my #1 Gold number in their system. I remember them telling me that they could not add my number because I got a rate through an agent (Noach Car).

Yes it always takes them a while to show up on the account points (in the top right of site after you login) and more time till it registers in the eSummary or whatever they call it.

I assume Amex Platinum holders have no annual fee. If you have 3 rentals a year maybe that too will give you a waived annual fee.

a hertz rep once told me that when u rent and they scan ur liscence if u have an account ittll auto book it using that account even if u dont put any info about it

IIRC, I think that 3 rentals a year earns you the ability to get Gold Status.
