Verizon scam
« on: November 08, 2016, 03:09:44 PM »
I got a text this afternoon from update@verizon.com asking to go to v1verify.com to update account information, I assumed this to be a scam and called Verizon to confirm. (They are trying to get people's log in info)

Scam alert: Keep getting calls from (800) 777-4681‬ (which is a sprint number) and they claim to be sprint, however confirmed with sprint that they aren’t trying to reach me. They may even call you using tour name. Beware
