Co-owner of the account might work.
If you have the UR to do it, you can transfer to Hyatt and then transfer from Hyatt to SW. 50k UR>50k HGP>30k SW. Depends on how much you want to see your daughter :)
It's the granddaughter I really want to see. ;D

I would definitely transfer UR to top off to 110,000 points.  But first I'd rather get 2  50k bonuses.

just got a flier in the mail that if you spend 3000 on SW card you get a bonus 5000 point for a total of 8k. might be useful for those who need it to reach 110k

Just re-read letter and its not as good as i thought. you need to register your card at www.southwest.com/cmholiday and its a 3000 mile bonus for spending 5000 between 10/1-12/31

Is it possible to apply for southwest card with another person's Rapid Rewards number and have the bonus points and points from spending on card be applied to the other person's account? Same last name, same address.
TIA

AFAIK you can't.

I'm sure this was talked about before. But which points transfer to SW that count towards my 110k for my companion pass?  I already got both credit cards and have 1
104k.

Hyatt, Wyndham, IHG, RR mall, among others.
Why don't you just spend another 6k?

Is there a link to SW cards?

Trying to figure out the companion pass story.

[2 cards at 50k each (still around?) plus 10k spend - is that the gist?]

My mistake, IHG does not transfer. I confused them with Choice Hotels.

The qualifying hotel partners and ratios are:

Club Carlson: 2,000>200
Hyatt: 5,000>2,400 (50k receives a 5k bonus)
Marriott: 10,000>2,000
Wyndham: 8,000>2,400
Choice Hotels: 6,000>1,800

If I don't plan on flying in the near future(6 months at least) is it worth it to sell the points? or transfer them to another program, so I can make the card a lower card to get a refund on the annual fee?

Canceling your card has no effect on the points already in your account.

Yes. Southwest points don’t expire as long as you have flight or Partner earning activity every 24 months.
The trick of booking and canceling an award flight to extend your expiration date should work with SW as well.
