AF just hit. I should have 30 days (even after the next statement closes) to close the card and get it refunded, right?

My AF also just hit. There's a 6k mile anniversary bonus. I'm not sure when that posts or if there is a way to close the card and still get the bonus. Any insight?

2nd best find a friend traveling and book their tickets with your points for a fair price where you both gain
3rd best, buy Walmart gcs then use to purchase visa gc on Walmart.com for a few bucks off 200

It posts after statement if you cancel within 60 days and there is plenty of time for that you will get your AF back

I read a long time ago about keeping the 6K, just didn't want to post it in the open. Seems like people don't like those things out in public. I just wanted to be safe and make sure I have 30 or 60 days to cancel and get the fee refunded and steeeve answered that q.

I don't think this is one of those things that gets killed by overexposure, it's basically the same as getting a bonus on amex and canceling within 60 days, it's a technicality which most people won'e get their act together in time to use but not a loop hole

My guess: you owed them 5 miles because of returns. They don't remove miles from your SW account; they just wait until the deficit is filled before transferring more miles.
