Cancel within 60 days? Steep AF?

Some people are unbelievable. You want to fleece Southwest for nearly 24 months of free travel and you're worried about cancelling within 60 days over the fact that the annual fee per card is like hundred bucks?

? I want to sign up And get 50k points how does that equal 24 months of free travel? 50k is maybe a 2 Roundtrip tickets. I will not be able to meet a 110k points. So 2 round trip tickets on as is worth what 500? Now I'm trying to figure out if paying 100 a year is worth it if after 5 years of paying I could have been at the same spot by just booking.

If this bothers you then I sincerely apologize.

LOL. For someone who knows the info it takes 2 minutes to type the answer but for me it'll take 20-30 minutes to read the whole thread.

This isn't a fair comparison: your 20-30 minutes of effort earns you knowledge, our 2 minutes helping you earns us nothing. Most people who have the answers now at one point had to put a lot of time into researching and don't want to spoon feed you.

Or, simply google (!) Southwest Companion Pass and read the myriad of blog postings that discuss every conceivable question you may have.

Wow! So I think that's my next card. How does it work
Get the personal card 50k offer,  business 50k offer, spend 10k and you have 110k points. Right?
What else should I know before?

Sorry there's no WIKI. I did read the last 10 pages but my time is not unlimited
Thanks

did you try the Southwest Companion Pass Master Thread?

If the 60k were earned this year and the 50k get posted this year, then yes.

From the CP master thread
Quote
Points transferred from Ultimate Rewards do not count towards CP, although you can transfer can transfer 50K Ultimate Rewards points into 50K Hyatt and 50K Hyatt transfers into 30K Southwest.

Why waste 2 pulls with personal + business and just go for personal premier and plus?

For the sake of conversation.
I'd look at it this way when someone asks to be learned from A. I did a fair amount of reading on many cards and on this one (and I also get annoyed when someone asks me "how did earn 2 million miles in 1 year?") all I was asking is if I missed something important.

Sorry I just read this, I know it was pointed out, but I wanted to point out the SW CP master thread to answer all these questions.

And to answer other Q's, you can get plus and premier without touching biz.

IIRC it's usually 25k.
