So I was very lazy with my SW Plus card, and didn't get around to cancelling it until last week (I got it back in March). I did not expect to get a refund of the membership fee. Today I see in my account a balance of -99 due to membership fee refund!

How will I get that money? Via check?

I completed my 3bm of Marriott, SW plus personal, and SW plus biz on friday night.. No instant approval on either.. I called saturday morning and was asked why I needed so much credit. I explained I wanted to focus all my airfare on SW and that I'd like to be rewarded for my loyalty to them.. Then the rep told me that I'd have to call back monday morning to speak with someone to verify the information I provided. Is this normal? Also, I noticed 1 pull on EQ and 1 pull on EX.

Update: I was approved for Marriott and Personal SW but denied business due to "new credit extended" within the past month. Any tips to get the business one through? HUCA?

My friend, it can be done, but you have A LOT of HUCA to do...I wouldn't be surprised if it took 10 calls or more.

Yeah, I just finished my 3rd HUCA.. this one did get the furthest as they had asked extra questions and put me on hold for a long time.. Should I call again in the same day or wait a day? and is there anything specific they are looking for to get a business line opened?

Yeah, I don't see why that's a 'darn' unless you actually use so many different cards daily. Congrats!

I did a 3bm for the sw premier ,  sw plus , sapphire preferred  got instant approval for the 2 SW and denied for sapphire tried HUCA a few times for sapphire and they keep on telling me they cant approve it cuz they don't let you open more than 2 cards in 30 days..... should I bother keep on HUCA or just be happy with what I got?

You should be happy with what you got & you could HUCA.

I am happy about what I got .... CP here we come! I just wanted to know if this rule of only allowing 2 cards per 30 days is firm or is it HUCAble? I have a standard sapphire card which I offered to close to get the preferred approved and was repeatedly told "sorry 2 cards per 30 days"

It's mentioned in all chase threads. Sometimes they'll insist only 2 per 30 days. But people have managed to get 3.

I've never closed two to open one before. That's why it's a darn. Obviously it's worth it.
