+1 that's what I was referring to. Didn't think anything changed in the last few days.

Is there any way of avoiding the annual fee for the SW Premier and/or Plus cards?

There's not really too many benefits for using the card aside for the signup bonus so theres not such hard feelings to close the card... Is that really all it takes?

1. Do I have to pay them initially to get the 50,000 on each?
2. Does closing the card effect my companion pass if I already reach my 110k beforehand (before the 60 days)?

1. No. As soon as the 50k points post you can close the card!
2. No.

According to the rules, you only receive the bonus if you have not had the card in 24 months.
Anyone know if this is in fact what happens?

I understand that if I had the plus or business I can get the other type. Anything
problematic with calling chase and asking them which cards i have had over the last 24 months
to know which one I should open?
A democracy is a form of government, not an intrinsic truth

I signed up for the 50k offer without putting in any FFN and I got this card and closed it down several months ago already. Will I still get bonus?

So is the consensus to create new FFN and then merge into old account if you had the cards before?

as long as one earns 110K points, then they can get the pass... so, technically they are still eligible if the 110K is spent in 2015, correct? (it's just more challenging...)

I putpac but still was denied.

So I signed up for the plus and have to call back tomorrow and speak with verification.
If the plus is approved I'll have the premier and the plus personal cards.

This are considered two different products right?
So if incomplete the spend on both I should get the bonus right?

if they are going for spend, then there is no need to sign up his wife for the card

perhaps. Unless he's a recent SW cardholder, and she's a new account.
