Anyone know how easy it is with chase to move statement date earlier? Would like to have bonus points post asap to use CP.

IME, they only let you pick a date like the "12th of every month" without specifying the first month it should affect. Therefore, you have to be careful because if you move it too close to today, it won't kick in till next month and this current statement could end up being 5 or 6 weeks long. They don't tell you what exact date/month the next statement will close on until you pick a date, and it's official. After getting messed up like that once, the rep agreed to try a second date, but that failed again. For the third attempt, it became a hassle with getting the manager on the phone, etc. and I don't remember exactly, but I believe we ended up just changing the date back to the original date it was at.

Very easy. Just call up and change the due date. The statement close date is 3 days after the due date (unless the due date is on the 25, 26, 27, or 28th then the statement date moves to the 1st. No statement closing between the 28th - 31st).

Make sure the statement is closing at least seven days after completing the spend or else you'll have to wait for the next statement.

IME they won't let you make it earlier, just later.  And if you try to change the due date they'll just elongate the first month rather than bring the close date sooner.  Again, just ME.

OK PSA: Even if not eligible per that link, someone can still call  and use your info (first/last name, RR# and zip code) to pull up a 2k/50k SW Plus offer. If you're account is open and in good standing it should result in 5k points for you. I actually closed my DW account and it has STILL been working to generate 50k offers for people, but no longer working to give me 5k bonus points anymore, so someone else should take this over. YMMV but DW was never eligible per that link and still got bonus points this way.
I just called 1-888-691-2301 twice and both times the rep said that the Plus 50k is expired?!?!?!

Is this normal?
I want CP, but want to avoid biz card if possible, someone on FT mentioned that they get a new phone # sometimes at the beginning of the quarter and it will come back?
