Probably finished the spend too close to the statement date.

The card was opened in the last 30 days.

The billing was suppose to close at the end of the month. I completed the spending requirements a week back and requested a statement closing earlier than end of the month.

The statement closed but no bonus. May be requesting earlier closing date might have caused the issue.

Yes, but it's hard to get Chase to switch a statement date. IINM there was a discussion about this in another thread recently. They're willing to do it, but it's hard to make sure it closes that month versus just pushing off your next statement until the following month. i.e. You're current statement is set to close on 6/4 and you say please close my statement on 5/25 and instead it makes the next statement close on 6/25 - now you're worse off than before.

Hypothetically, if I'm approved for a SW Premier but had the bonus within 24 months (i believe I'm at 22) and they have the same rapid rewards number would I be eligible for the 50k bonus?

I applied for a plus but the congrats email says premier (which I don't recall applying for). Has this happened to anyone else before?

Now that I have the answers, I hope this will help anyone that finds himself in a similar predicament!
I indeed applied (erroneously) for 2 Plus cards, one with a 50k bonus and one with a 25k bonus.
1. Chase approved (not instantly, but w/o calling any recon) 2 apps for the Plus card.
2. I received bonuses for both cards (even after SMing and I was told I wouldn't receive both because of the 24 month rule!).
3. Chase would not change a Plus into a Premier w/ a simple phone call.
