When do the points post? If I were to sign up today for the plus and premier, I have 90 days to do the spending. That puts me at December 13, is there a way to get the last statement to close after Jan 1, so the CP will be till the end of 2018?

You have 115 days to do the spend with chase.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Yeah. You can SM them after approval and ask them for the spend deadline. Alternatively, you can change closing date to put it after Jan for spend within 90 days.

Thanx. I was thinking of doing the 2nd way, but thanx for the clarification. So it shud have an automatic 115 days because of the first statements closing date?

I already applied a few weeks ago, when I did my Sapphire Reserve. I think my last day to hit the spend will fall out a week or so before Jan 1. The question is how to push it over to not hit my rapid rewards account until 2017.

I don't, but when u open an account, u can always request to push off ur end date. Let's say ur end date is the 21st and all ur bills are usually due on the 15th, u can request they switch it. Since they won't give u a shorter month, they give u a longer statement...

So I should change the due date in December, not now. Right?

Doesn't make a difference. U have to meet the spend when the 3rd statement closes. Bear in mind that all 110k have to post in Jan, so if ur doing 50k X 2, all 10 k spend has to be done in Jan

So I have until Dec 24 to meet the spend (confirmed by SM) and my account closes each month on the 17th. Does that mean that as long as I hit my spend between Dec. 18-24 the miles will post in 2017?

The current offer is for those who have not received a sign-up offer in 24 months, and I think my points from my last CP posted early Jan. So, couple questions:

Is there a way to see when my last sign-up bonus posted? Is the 24 months counted from the time a card was opened, or from the time bonus points posted?

Thanks!
