They said that in the email of merger updates. CO OPP will continue to earn miles in the new MP program in 2012.

Do you think the new offers will be as churnable as the recent BA or as churnable as previous CO/UA?

I don't see why CO/UA should be unchurnable like BA just because a new offer is coming out?

I am not familiar with Southwest at all , went to site and see you can redeem points for gift cards at about $0.01value , I never use miles for gift cards etc as I use them for international travel only--but 50,000 points is $500.00 gift card ( net $400.00) after fee ---- could not find any other airline partners - do they have any ???--also do not see a way to transfer points to a hotel or use partner airline

I've churned dozens of CO and UA cards without a problem.  Not sure why that would change.
