How strict are they about the 24 months rule? It's been 2 calendar years but think it was March or April '15 meaning 21/22 months.
make sure its been 2 years since you got the BONUS not just from when you got the credit card.

the closing date on the statement when i got the bonus was 3/10/15. I should make sure not to get the bonus before 3/10/17 or the payment due date? Or I can't even apply until 2 years later?

I just got off phone with Recon, they said app was declined because I'd received the bonus in the past 24 mo - said no credit was pulled, and even if I wanted the product I wouldn't be allowed to open one within 24 mo of having received a bonus (even forgoing the bonus).

I asked when I'd received the prior bonus... it was Jan 9, 2015. My application was submitted Jan 8, 2017.

So yes, they're strict with the 24 mo.

They can't process app now that it's after 24 months?
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

No, she told me I'd have to submit a new application.

Can one downgrade the SW Card? What would you downgrade it to or should a person cancel it since I got the annual fee?

60k business premier: https://creditcards.chase.com/a1/southwest/60KPremierBiz?CELL=637V

as always, wait for Dan's post to support the site & forum.

Did @Dan ever post his own link? I don't think I noticed a main site article on this (though I don't check main site that often and could have missed it)

Can I open a card in someone else name, wife for example, and put my RR number on their card and still receive the bonus? Will it work to achieve companion pass status as well?
