Can Someone please confirm that if I close my account they wont take back my points?

Confirmed.

(I've never heard if it happening with Chase co-branded card signup bonuses).

but the concern here is, canceling 2  SW, personal and SW biz , AFTER A MONTH or a year later risks putting yourself in line for  BLACKLIST by chase.

Do you mind to clarify what it is specifically that creates the risk of being blacklisted?

I opened a SW plus then closed it a month later to open a SW Premium, and want to close that now another month and a half later to push through a freedom (app was denied) that i plan to keep long term.
(Was also approved for a CO OP.  Applied for a OPP but only got 1K CL approved.  I SMed to ask what the sign up bonus would be for the OP but havent heard back yet.  if Ill get the same bonus as the OPP, ill use the CL from the SW for the Freedom.  if not, Ill use the CL from the SW to increase the CL on the OP to 5k to get it to OPP fpr the bonus miles)

Risky?

They won't take back your points once they post to your RR account. Keep in mind that you can't get the gift cards once you close your CC.

Yes (the points hit quickly, just spend $1 ASAP)
Anyone know how long it takes for the points to hit? My annual fee was assessed on 1/1, I received the card and made my 1st purchase on 1/7 (posted on 1/10), but no points yet.

You can SM chase to find out The date when yor first Billing cycle will close.  It happens at midnight on that day.  The miles should be in your account within hours, by the morning.
I did two SW cards and both times it went like clockwork. It is a few weeks wait though from when the account is opened till first billing cycle closes. But כנ״ל, you can get the exact date by SM.

Cycle closed yesterday the 18th. Guess I'll check back in a few hours.

Hopefully the awards are not issued by the same people that are responding to rewards inquiries by SM

The 50K hit this morning. Now I need to spend em and get out before 2/1. Any suggestions on the best way to maximize the points?

I got an email promo saying if you pay 2 utility bills with this card by April 30 (I think) you can get 1,000 bonus points.  2nd time I got an easy offer from Southwest for free points! :)

Success!
Dear Shmelly,

Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding the Southwest
Airlines credit card account. I appreciate this
opportunity to provide you with additional information.

After further review of the account, I have found that the
credit card was mailed to the address on file as of
December 31, 2011. You should receive the card within
7-10 business days. If you do not receive the credit card
within this time, please contact us for further
assistance.

In addition, I find the enrollment offer for this account
is 25,000 Rapid Reward Points. Thank you for letting us
know you would like to take advantage of a different
offer. I have added 25,000 Rapid Reward Points to match
the offer that you received for 50,000 Rapid Reward
Points. The points will be sent to Southwest Airlines at
the close of your next billing statement. Southwest
Airlines request that you allow up to 30 days after the
statement closing date for the Rapid Reward points to post
to your Rapid Rewards account.

If you have any further questions, please reply using the
Secure Message Center.

Thank you,

Kasey Roberts

Thanks jimmy1!
I also signed up for 25k and when I called them on the phone to ask for 50k they told me it would take them a week to get back to me.  Then I sent an sm and they responded that they would look into it and respond in a week.  Then a few hours later they agreed to match the public offer and give me the 50k.
I asked the representative on the phone if we could set up my billing cycle to get the points as soon as possible and he claimed that if he set it up for next week I should see the points then.  We''ll see.  I hope :)
