Has anyone yet tried having both versions of the personal or biz card, to see if they'll give the points twice?
How about churning the biz?

Think I may have made a mistake.
Have done both SW cards last time they had the 50k signup promo for two different cards.  I just applied again and was approved, but didn't think (never churned before) to make a new SW RR account and add the number to the application.
My card arrived and it didnt say anything about the signup bonus.
Does this mean they recognised my old account and that Ive had the card in the past and I wont get the signup bonus?

I just called to activate and asked a guy about the bonus for my card, he told me its 50k miles for spending 2k in 103 days, but i want sure that he was checking that ill actually get it, as opposed to looking at what the bonus is for the card.

I just SMed asking to confirm the signup bonus.  Guess Ill find out shortly.

Thanx.

I just got this reply to my SM:
"Dear YG,

Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding this Southwest
Airlines Rapid Rewards® Credit Card account.

In reviewing your application details, you will receive a
50,000 Rapid Reward Bonus after spending $2,000.00 within
the first 3 months of opening your account............"

 :D

Now time to work on BB and VR / MVD.
Worst case scenario I can pay my rent with my CC but it will cost me $50 to spend 2K innstead of 16 with VR (although, considering how hard they seem to be to come by, it might not be worth the drei - mach zich meshugeh for $34)

Why does MVD cost $50?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Why does MVD cost $50?

Sorry for lack of clarity.
If I can't manage to get hold of VR or MVD in the next couple of days without too much hassle (34.20 worth), I can pay via novelpay.com directly with my cc to meet the min spend, but they charge a fee of 12.50 for every $500 paid with visa. So the 2k for the min spend will cost $50 in fees instead of 15.80.
The $34.80 difference is something, but to me its not worth a significant amount of stress or time.

I just tried opening a second SW RR account and after filling out all the info, with a new login ID and password, it gave me my original number!
How are you guys getting a new number? Are you changing your address or something?
Thanks!

The links just changed.
Now it's 25k points after 1k spend.
Any idea how to still get the old offer of 50k points after 2k spend?
If not, how likely that it'll be offered again and any idea when?

Your guess is as good as anyone else (except, perhaps, Dimon and those of his ilk).

All affiliates have access to the same "insider info" except, of course, when they attend formal chase events (as an example). But even there, definitive details arent always released AFAIK.
